If you wish to renew an item that you have, here is the procedure to follow:
- Open the Library's web page (either from the Internet or
Intranet).
- Select SEARCH THE CATALOG.
- Click on the VIEW USGS PATRON RECORD tab at the top.
- Log into your record if you need help, contact your
regional branch library.
- Click on ITEMS OUT.
- Select the items you want to renew.
- Click on the RENEW button at the top of the list.
Note: Only one renewal per item is allowed. If you still need an item that is not renewable, bring or mail
the piece to the library, and we will check it in and check it back out to you. We just want to make sure that the
items that you need for long periods of time are "alive and well".
